Winter and summer recreation opportunities are nearby, including world-class skiing at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows ski resorts, and the Tahoe X-C Center. The neighborhood's annual HOA fee is under $1000, with an initiation fee of around $25,000 for non-owners.
